Colorado Mesa earned its second NCAA Division II Men’s Lacrosse Championships and its first in eight seasons after the Mavericks posted an 18-14 win over Flagler on Friday to win the Peach Belt Conference title at St. Augustine, Fla. READ MORE
The Mavericks earned a spot in the finale by capturing the Peach Belt Conference Rocky Mountain Division Tournament on April 24 and 26, defeating Dominican 22-7 and Concordia Irvine 15-6 in Grand Junction.
Facing a “must-win” situation to earn a spot in the national tournament, Colorado Mesa will learn its seeding in the NCAAs during Sunday’s selection show at 5:30 p.m. on NCAA.com.
Colorado Mesa’s only other appearance in the NCAA Division II Championships was in 2018, when the Mavericks were eliminated in the quarterfinals by a 14-12 decision by Lenoir Rhyne in Hickory, N.C.

With a 13-3 record this season, the Mavericks have improved the school’s all-time match mark to 168-56 (75.0%) since the program’s launch for the 2010-2011 season. In his third season at Mesa, Troy Moyer has compiled a 42-9 won-lost record (82.4%).
The 2025 men’s championship is a 16-team single-elimination bracket, with games beginning on May 7 and continuing to the championship on May 25 at Gillette Stadium in Foxboro, Mass.
On the women’s side of RMAC lacrosse, Regis will be the league’s representative in the NCAAs. The Rangers captured the title by defeating Colorado Mesa 12-8 on April 27 in Grand Junction.

The 2025 tournament uses a 24-team single-elimination bracket. Games begin with the first round on May 8 and continue through the championship game on May 24 at Kerr Stadium in Salem, Va.
The Rangers appeared in the NCAAs in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Regis has appeared in three final fours in 2018, 2019, and 2024.

Since 2001-2002, Regis has compiled a 233-111 record (67.7%). Sarah Kellner is in her 19th season coaching the Rangers. She has compiled a 223-78 won-lost mark (74.1%).
