RMAC crew worked NCAA Division II football title game

A Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference officiating crew worked the Division II Championship game on Saturday in McKinney, Texas, where Ferris State captured its fourth NCAA title by defeating Harding 42-21.

In a game played in less than three hours with only eight penalties accepted (74 yards), it marked the first time that an RMAC crew had worked a Division II finale.

The two schools were no strangers to the RMAC.  Ferris State defeated Colorado Mines for the 2022 crown, with the Orediggers losing to Harding the following year.

As a side note, three RMAC schools were ranked in the American Football Coaches Association final NCAA Division II poll – CSU Pueblo (11th), Western Colorado (12th), and Chadron State (23rd).
