Denver upsets Summit leaders

Before Adams State and Colorado State Pueblo posted men’s upset wins on Thursday over the top two schools in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference, Denver scored the biggest surprise for Centennial State collegiate teams with a win at league-leading North Dakota State.

The Pioneers (11-14, 4-6) posted a 78-71 win in Fargo as Carson Johnson scored 20 points in the win to give the Bison (19-6, 9-1) their first Summit League setback.  READ MORE

Colorado State Pueblo (14-7, 8-5) posted its first win over a nationally-ranked school since 2015 as the ThunderWolves’ second-half surge led the school to a 71-53 win over 13th-ranked Black Hill State (17-4, 10-3) in the Steel City.  READ MORE

Dylan Sanders tied a career-high with 20 points to lead the Pack as the Denver-area resident was 8-for-11 shooting from the field and a 3-for-5 effort from downtown.
