- Olivia Reed Thyne from Colorado Mesa was named as the 2025-2026 NCAA Division II Basketball Academic All-America® Team Member of the Year. Teammate Mason Rowland also earned Academic All-America® honors as selected by College Sports Communicators. - On April 9, Colorado Mesa announced the hiring of Ken DeWeese as the next Head Men’s Basketball Coach. DeWeese becomes the seventh coach in program history and inherits a program that went 21-11 and made the NCAA Tournament during the 2025-26 season.
