With Colorado Mesa and CSU Pueblo winning golf titles on Tuesday in Henderson, Nev., the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference continues championship competition this weekend, featuring lacrosse and outdoor track & field. Here is a recap of the action.
- With the men’s golf championship cut short to only two 45 holes due to windy conditions, Colorado Mesa edged CSU Pueblo by two strokes. READ MORE

- The women’s lacrosse title will be decided at Regis, where the 20th-ranked Rangers play Colorado Mesa in the first semifinal at 4 p.m. on Thursday, followed by UCCS meeting Westminster. The title match is at 4 p.m. on Saturday. READ MORE
- The men’s lacrosse championship will be decided in Salt Lake City, with host Westminster playing Northwest Nazarene and Colorado Mesa challenging Concordia Irvine in Friday’s semifinals starting at 4 p.m. The title match will be on Sunday at 1 p.m. READ MORE
- The outdoor track and field championships will be hosted by Colorado State University Pueblo at the ThunderBowl. The three-day event starts on Friday and concludes on Sunday. READ MORE
- The RMAC’s spring championship concludes during the first few days of May. Baseball will be held May 6-9, with Colorado Mesa favored to host. Softball will be held May 7-9 at Colorado Christian.
Dave Hajek, who founded the baseball program at the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs has announced his retirement. Hired in 2015 to build the program from its inception and guided the Mountain Lions through their inaugural season in 2017. In his 10th season with the Mountain Lions, Hajek has compiled a 229-224-1 record, including a 29-12-1 record this season. READ MORE
