Regis women’s lacrosse team dominant in RMAC tournament

For the second consecutive year, the Regis women’s lacrosse team shared the regular season championship, this year with UC Colorado Springs after tying with Colorado Mesa last season.  The Rangers just collected their seventh straight, and ninth overall, RMAC postseason championship, doing so in dominant fashion.  Regis led Westminster 11-0 at halftime en route to a 14-5 victory.  Graduate student goalkeeper Brigit Goetsch was named the MVP while sophomore Evie Tanella led offensively with three goals and three assists.  READ MORE

Next up for Regis, which ranked 20th nationally in the final regular season poll, is the NCAA Tournament, with play beginning on May 7 and the selection show on May 3.  This will mark the ninth consecutive season that the Rangers have played in the NCAA Tournament.
