After Jacksonville tied the match at 9s with 9:51 remaining, Edson’s 26th goal of the season on an assist by Molly Reed proved to be the winner for the Buffs at Prentup Field as CU remains unbeaten at home in eight matches this spring.

CU now advances to a second-round match on Sunday at 1 p.m. on Prentup Field against the winner of Friday’s second contest between the Universities of Denver (15-3) and Florida (15-3).
