Colorado Mines and CSU Pueblo paced the Centennial State efforts at the 2026 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field Championships by combining for three individual titles while placing among the top 15 in team scoring.

In the men’s competition, Mines finished 11th, highlighted by Dawson Gunn’s second-place finish in the 5,000 meters on Saturday after Max Bonenberger collected the silver medal on Friday in the 3,000-meter steeplechase.
For CSU Pueblo, the ThunderWolves’ Caleb McLeod captured the men’s 1,500-meter run, and Xavier Freeman placed second in the shot put to earn a 15th-place finish for the Steel City crew with 18 points. READ MORE
The Pack tied for 13th in the women’s competition as Helen Braybrook and Jadyn Herron placed second and fifth in the 1,500 meters after Febe Wessels had placed second in the shot put for CSUP.
