Linebacker Kade Musser of Western Colorado and safety Kahden Rullo of Colorado State Pueblo have been listed in the DII Report 26 DII football player-of-the-year candidates for 2026.
With the NCAA Division II football season kicking off on Thursday, Wayne Cavadi compiled a list of player-of-the-year candidates. In his article, Cavadi said, “There are several outlets that award a player of the year award. I was one of them on NCAA.com. D2 Football has player-of-the-year honors as well, which is highly coveted. Of course, the big one is the DII Heisman – the Harlon Hill Trophy.”
If you are new to DII and the Harlon Hill award, here is a quick refresher.
