The Bobcats amassed 716 total yards, led by 503 rushing yards and eight rushing touchdowns, as Texas State roared to a 28-0 lead after 18 minutes in the first-ever meeting between the two schools.

After a 59-45 setback at UTSA in San Antonio on September 26, the Rams have given up 181 points in their last three games, allowing only 41 points to 11th-ranked BYU in Fort Collins on September 19 in their 41-23 setback to the Cougars.

CSU, which lost 56-26 to Oregon State in Fort Collins on October 3, scored on 10 straight drives after forcing a three-and-out on Texas State’s first drive.  Offensively, the Rams went three-and-out on four of their first five drives before scoring touchdowns on four straight drives to cut the TSU lead to 45-27 with 28 minutes left.

With early-season starting quarterback Hauss Hejny still sidelined, K’saan Farrar led the Rams, completing 27 of 42 passes for 282 yards and two touchdowns.  In the last three games, Farrar has passed for 804 yards and five scores.
