Halloween football treats for Centennial State fans.

As spooky season peaks, college football fans across the Centennial State get a frightfully exciting slate of games. With nine of Colorado’s ten colleges and universities hitting the gridiron on Halloween (Saturday, October 31, 2026), local sports fans can look forward to a full day of wild matchups, rivalry showdowns, and high-stakes conference battles from Boulder to Alamosa.

RMAC Heavyweights and the Road to November

In NCAA Division II action, the spotlight shines brightly on the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference. Nationally ranked CSU Pueblo and Western Colorado both enter the late-October stretch looking to preserve their flawless records.

The two powerhouses are on a collision course for a regular-season finale on November 14 in the Steel City – a blockbuster clash expected to decide both the RMAC title and the fictional U.S. Highway 50 Cup.

Thirty-four (34) teams are undefeated in college football this season. CSU Pueblo and Western Colorado are two of the 10 undefeated teams in NCAA Division II football.  Three undefeated teams are in the FBS, two in the FCS, and 17 in NCAA Division III.  The NAIA boasts only two undefeated teams.

Meanwhile, the Colorado School of Mines has caught fire, rattling off five straight wins to put it right behind the conference frontrunners on a hot streak.
