Northern Colorado junior Aydin Rix-McElhinney qualified for the 2024 U20 World Championships by winning gold in Greco-Roman (77kg) wrestling at the 2024 U20 Pan-Am Championships in Lima, Peru on July 13.
Rix-McElhinney claimed the title with a perfect 5-0 mark, outscoring his opponents 48-4. He earned the Golden Boot – awarded to the tournament’s most outstanding wrestler. READ MORE
