The Rocky Mountain Jamboree will be held October 18 and 19 in Windsor with 44 of the country’s top junior college and high school teams.
The sixth annual Rocky Mountain Jamboree will held at the NOCO Sports Center (5699 Crooked Stick Drive in Windsor). Admission for the event is $15 per day.
More than 100 athletes from the Rocky Mountain Jamboree have moved onto NCAA Division I schools and hundreds more onto other levels in the NCAA and NAIA.
Barton County, the defending National Junior College Athletic Association champions, are scheduled to play twice in the Jamboree on October 18. Keandre Kindell and Brent Moss, who started on the 2024 championship team, are on Barton’s roster for this season.
Led by Trinidad State, all five junior college teams (Colorado Northwestern, Lamar, Northeastern and Otero) will be competing in the Rocky Mountain Jamboree.
Trinidad State has represented NJCAA Region IX in the national tournament the past three season. Coached by Mike Folda, the Trojans are led by guard Lateef Patrick. A third-team NJCAA All-American last season, Patrick scored 28 points in the 2024 Region IX finale at Western Nebraska to lift TSC into the national tournament where the Trojans lost to Odessa (Texas) in the first round.
