This week’s featured game is Colorado State at Air Force. These two schools will play for the Ram-Falcon Trophy. Air Force is looking to snap its five-game losing streak and is 0-3 in conference play. Colorado State evened its record at 3- is coming off a 31-24 victory over San Jose State and is 1-0 in conference play.
Nine Colorado-based collegiate programs are in action this week as Northern Colorado has a Saturday off to savor its first win of the season last week in Utah over Weber State in Ogden. The 21-17 victory over the nationally-ranked FCS Wildcats snapped an 18-game victory drought for UNC.
Colorado State at Air Force, 6 p.m. (CBS-SN) – Two Mountain West rivals get together in a trophy game. This is expected to be the penultimate Mountain West meeting between these schools, with Colorado State moving to the PAC 12 in 2026. Last year, the Air Force defeated Colorado State 30-13. Air Force leads the series 39-21-1. The Ram Falcon trophy has been given to the winner of the game since 1980. Air Force leads the series 28-15 since the start of the trophy clash in 1980.
Colorado Mines at Adams State, 1 p.m. (RMAC Net) – After bouncing back from their only of the season, the Orediggers look to improve on a 3-1 conference record and pick up a road win against Adams State. Colorado Mines is still ranked 12 in the AFCA coaches poll. Colorado Mines has won 10 straight against Adams State, and Orediggers leads the series 37-36-2. Adams State is 0-6 this season.
Fort Lewis at Chadron State, 1 p.m. (RMAC Net) – Fort Lewis has lost its last 36 RMAC games and is 1-5 overall and 0-4 in conference play. They are coming off a 58-24 defeat against CSU Pueblo. Chadron State leads the series 33-5. Fort Lewis has lost three in a row against Chadron State.
Black Hills State at CSU Pueblo, 1 p.m. (RMAC Net) – CSU Pueblo’s 5-0 record in conference play puts them first in the RMAC. They look for another victory this year against Black Hills State in conference play. CSU Pueblo leads the series 11-0. CSU Pueblo climbed two spots in the AFCA coaches poll from 16 to 14. CSU Pueblo is looking to win 13 consecutive conference games.
New Mexico Highlands at Colorado Mesa, 1 p.m. (RMAC Net) – Colorado Mesa is looking to extend its winning streak to four games against New Mexico Highlands this Saturday. Colorado Mesa also aims to extend its winning streak against New Mexico Highlands. Colorado Mesa has won 10 in a row against New Mexico Highlands. Colorado Mesa leads the series 35-11.
South Dakota Mines at Western Colorado, 1 p.m. (RMAC Net) – Western Colorado has had an impressive 6-0 season and is looking for more of the same this week against South Dakota Mines. Western Colorado leads the series 4-3. Drew Nash leads Western Colorado, and its rushing attack is second in the RMAC in yards. Last week, Nash threw for 346 yards, a career high. He also passed for three touchdowns and completed 34 of 45 passes. He also had a 162.1 pass efficiency. He did throw a 65-yard touchdown pass on Saturday, which is his longest of the season. Western Colorado is still ranked No. 10 in the coaches poll.
Colorado at Arizona, 2 p.m. (FOX) – Colorado is looking to bounce back after losing late in the game against Kansas State. Colorado lost three players against Kansas State, including star cornerback and receiver Travis Hunter, and as of Monday Night, it is not sure when they will return. If Travis Hunter has to miss any games, it will hurt his chances of winning the Heisman trophy. Regardless of whether Travis Hunter plays Colorado, it will be with Shedeur Sanders and LaJohntay Wester. Shedeur Sanders has 17 passing touchdowns this season, sixth in the FBS, and 2018 passing yards, fourth in the FBS. Wester has 318 yards receiving and seven touchdowns receiving this year. Colorado leads the series against Arizona 11-10.
