The uniqueness of Travis Hunter’s 2024 football season at the University of Colorado continued as he snared first-team All-American honors from the ASSOCIATED PRESS and the Football Writers Association of America.
AP listed Hunter as a first-teamer at cornerback, all-purpose, and second-teamer at wide receiver. The Football Writers Association of America named Hunter a first-team all-purpose player for the second straight season.

The AP and FWAA honors add to Hunter’s All-American list as the Walter Camp Football Foundation and American Football Coaches Association named him last week. The AFCA listed Hunter as a first-team all-purpose player. The Walter Camp team listed Hunter as first-team All-America honors on offense (wide receiver) and defense (defensive back). He is the first to earn first-team recognition on both sides.
Hunter joins Joe Romig (lineman, 1960-1961), Barry Helton (punter, 1985-1986), Joe Garten (offensive line, 1989-1990), and Alfred Williams (1989-1990) as two-time consensus All-Americans for CU. A total of 28 Buffs have been recognized as consensus AAs. READ MORE
