With the 2025-2026 collegiate basketball season ending in three weeks, one of the three collegiate coaching vacancies in the state of  Colorado has been filled at the Air Force Academy, with open positions at Colorado Mesa, Denver and Western Colorado.

Penn State assistant Joe Crispin has been named head men’s coach at Air Force, where he takes over a program that has won only seven games the past two seasons under two coaches – Joe Scott and Jon Jordan.  READ MORE

On March 10, it was announced that the University of Denver and Doshia Woods had mutually parted ways after her six seasons with the Pioneers.  Woods was named the program’s 11th head coach in July 2020 during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic and led the Pioneers to a 57-116 record.  READ MORE

On March 16,  Mike Dunlap announced he was stepping down as the men’s coach at Colorado Mesa due to health concerns. Arguably the best coach in Centennial State history after winning two NCAA Division II titles at MSU Denver (2000 and 2002), Dunlap had a 40-21 record in two seasons with the Mavericks, with a pair of “final four” appearances in the Rocky Mountain Athletic Conference postseason and an NCAA berth this season.  READ MORE

On March 20, Adam Jacobson announced that after four years at the helm of the Western Colorado program, he was leaving the Mountaineers.  He compiled a 50-60 (39-45 in the RMAC) in Gunnison.  After finishing with a 6-21 record in his first season (2021-2022), Jacobson led Western to the RMAC postseason the last two seasons.  READ MORE
