The Air Force and Northern Colorado will have two wrestlers each competing today in the opening rounds of the NCAA Division I Men’s Wrestling Championships at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.  RESULTS

Air Force participants are 141-pounder Carter Nogle and 197-pounder Karson Tompkins.   Wrestling for Northern Colorado in the NCAAs are 133-pounder Dominick Serrano and 184-pounder Mahonri Rushton.  AFA WEB ARTICLE / UNC WEB ARTICLE

Nogle is seeded 18th in this weight class after placing third in the Big XII Championships.  His first opponent is 15th-seeded Elijah Griffin of Rider.  Tompkins had a pigtail match against Blake Schaffer of Kent State, with the winner facing top-seeded Josh Barr of Penn State.

Serrano is seeded 9th at 133 pounds and meets Purdue’s No. 24 Blake Boarman. Rushton is seeded 31st at 184 and meets Missouri’s No. 2 Aeden Sinclair in the opening round.
